Rating Weight
Curb Weight (Wet Weight) The total weight of a vehicle with all standard equipment, required operating fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid), and a full tank of fuel, but without passengers or cargo.
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) The maximum total safe operating weight of a vehicle (or trailer) as determined by the manufacturer, including the curb weight plus passengers, accessories, and cargo.
Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating (GCVWR) (GCWR) Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating (GCVWR) (or GCWR) is the maximum allowable weight of a fully loaded towing vehicle and its attached trailer combined, as determined by the manufacturer. It includes the truck, passengers, cargo, fuel, and the trailer with its load. Exceeding this rating can damage the vehicle's frame, suspension, and engine.
