Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Safe Treks ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website safe-treks.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used when you visit the Site.
Planner and Account Information
Weight and rating values entered in the planner are used in calculations in your browser and are not automatically saved to a Safe Treks account. If you sign in and choose Save Profile, the profile name, vehicle and trailer ratings, item names, weights, and selected-row states are sent to Google Firebase Cloud Firestore and associated with your account. Saved profiles can be loaded again after signing in.
If you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes sign-in information such as your email address and authentication credentials or provider details. If you use My Account, your first name, last name, and phone number are stored in Firestore with your account. Google sign-in is also subject to Google's privacy practices.
We use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to provide account sign-in and saved-profile features. Google processes information for these services under its applicable terms and privacy practices. See Firebase privacy and security information.
Cookies and Advertising
The Site includes Google AdSense code. When Google serves ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about this and other websites you visit, to provide, measure, and personalize advertising as permitted by your settings and applicable requirements.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings. Any consent options shown on the Site depend on the site's consent configuration and applicable requirements.
Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
